J'ai approfondi mes lectures avant de te répondre :-)

Pour moi Monero (un exemple parmi d'autres) est déjà adopté et résoud un problème pour ses utilisateurs. Effectivement si on parle d'adoption globale, ce ne sera probablement pas Monero et plus probablement Bitcoin, mais cela ne veut pas dire qu'il n'y a pas de place sur les marges pour dzs alternatives, d'autant que c'est souvent (toujours ?) sur les marges que se fait l'innovation et que l'on résout les points de détail justement.

Je pense que Bitcoin aurait plus de mal à évoluer et introduire des innovations sans des projets alternatifs libres de partir d'un point différent et sans les contraintes d'un système existant. Que ce soit pour les introduire ou non, Bitcoin béneficie des réflexions et expérimentations menées par exemple sur la confidentialité par Monero, la gouvernance et les DAO par Ethereum, etc.

Je partage l'idée d'être focus pour construire et avancer, mais c'est à mon avis aussi essentiel de garder une fenêtre ouverte (avec une bonne moustiquaire anti-scam).

Je comprends surtout qu'il s'agit encore du problème général du manque de nuances, encouragé par le format des réseaux sociaux notamment X. J'ai enrichi mon vocabulaire avec par exemple toxic maximalists, bitcoin puritans ou shitcoin minimalist :-)

Sur le protocole, j'en viens à penser que celui de bitcoin est le plus fiable, et qu'une majorité de projets ne le sont pas, mais ça ne veut pas dire que ce sont tous des scams, ce que le terme "shitcoin" laisse entendre.

Plus spécifiquement, sur la proposition de valeur, je ne suis pas d'accord avec ton énoncé "qui ne peut pas être reproduite". Le transfert de valeur P2P me semble au contraire être une chose totalement reproductible que la plupart des projets mettent en oeuvre. C'est plutôt le degré de fiabilité qui est très variable et est effectivelent difficilement reproductible.

Plus spécifiquement encore, Monero me semble répondre aussi au cas de n'être qu'une monnaie commune (et est d'ailleurs rarement évoquée en tant que shitcoin).

Sur le dernier point au passage, si n'être qu'une monnaie commune est la vision de certaines personnes, ce n'est pas le seul cas d'usage possible de Bitcoin, qui permet aussi d'inscrire des données dans les blocks, fonction utilisée pour des usages bien différents de la monnaie.

I do not come from tiktok or twitter/X (already quitted a while ago), instead Nostr totally reactivated my interest for social networks, which is a surprise to myself !

The energy here is just so communicative and exciting, I feel I can fit and I want to be part of it.

I am very interesting on how the nostr protocol can help reshape the internet for better privacy, individual sovereignty and fair value sharing. I am especially focused on collaborative tools for collective action.

I think the tools we use shape the way we think, and therefore how the world works, so we have to chose wisely.

I am glad I am living in this shifting period of time and to be on nostr.
