Ah ha, I see now. Since most of the spam is in Chinese, couldn’t they just add a language filter? Problem solved, until they start spamming in other languages.
I don’t really like using filters, I actually don’t use the language filter on Mastodon, it’s not really a problem there, even on the federated timeline, but the universal timeline on Nostr has about 100 Chinese spam posts to every 1 post in English.
Which relay is it that has all of the spam Chinese posts on the universal timeline? Nostr really needs a language filter.
I saw the filter that a lot of people have on here, but what is it actually filtering? As you know on Mastodon I don’t like to use any block lists and I don’t use any filters there either. Just curious as to what it’s actually filtering.
If you’re using the Damus app, click your profile pic and it will have a list, click on relays, and click on one and it will show you who the admin is.
I think I might know, but then again I might be wrong, it’s called Nostr and the app on iOS is called Damus…. Nostradamus?
