This is something that money doesn't reflect. It isn't meant to reflect it. Money is for exchanges that are asymmetric in time and space or for trade between low-trust participants.
You don't put cash on the nightstand after you sleep with your spouse and you don't pay them to wash the dishes. You simply trust that you're "paying" into the relationship and they're "paying" in and that it eventually evens out enough that the relationship is worthwhile for all participants.
And I'm saying that I live in a small town in the mountains and I'm telling you what actually happens here and saying there will be more of it.
