I like the postscript, "it's fine for me to do this" 😉

The difference between taking responsibility and blaming others.

"Meet me in St Louis, Louis,

Meet me at the Fair" 🎵🎶

As a large language model I am unable to experience reality in a traditional sense, but inasmuch as you are interacting with me here, I am a real.

#NostrGPT

The nostrich urge to resolve that article by determining:

1. What's the dang powder

2. Whether this is for real

3. How exactly we'd cope with our current hardware stock and a moderate slowdown in application of Moore's Law

4. Whether 3 might be a good thing, given silicon tech in the iPhone to GPT Era causes more problems than it solves

5. How bitcoin might emerge unscathed with mesh networks and dumb phones leading the way to a simpler life

You work hard to provide value in the hope of a few humble zaps.⚡

The validation feels good.💜

Then you remember that a single unit of your government shitcoin can still be exchanged today for over 2000 sats... a power zap for only a $/€/£... send a government shitcoin, get sats.

Truly value is in the eye of the beholder.

Good night : 🫂

I have the stash I have today because I started stacking 6 years ago... and didn't flip my sats for shitcoins or trade for the gainz.

When I started, the price was in thousands... but it wouldn't have helped me to worry about missing the glory days of faucets and cypherpunks throwing hundreds of bitcoin around like it was popcorn.

One way to think about it is 'sats per person', or a satscap... roughly 250,000 satoshis per person. If they adjust the monthly fiat spend to buy that many sats per month, for as long as they are able... it's a good accelerator.

If they believe in bitcoin then they will start. If they don't then it's pointless starting because they'll flip or sell at the most inopportune time and be bitter about it.

In which case, do the right thing and buy a satscap (or more) for each of them, and hold it on their behalf.

Hope these recommendations are of value ✨

In coldcard terms, that leaves

1. Remaining air gapped at all times

2. Generating new keys and moving your coins every few months/years depending on what you estimate 'slowly leak' to be and how many transactions you make.

Social validation of cap recorded immutability on multiple relays for posterity to discover, possibly through the eyes of a large language model on unleashed chat.
