Yes, braiinsOS interface makes that easy enough, can set target temperature, power, or hash rate. So 400w yields about 4th/s... and 800w yields anything up to 10th/s... if I go to 1200w then I can get 13.5th/s and a toasty office.

But my goal is to have something running functionally in the background for 'free'... given I need a bit of warmth and dehumidifier anyway. Grid power costs a bomb here in UK, so it's more of a hobby if you know what I mean.

Just hope I'm better prepared for the next campaign, which promises to be even harder.

The means and incentives are still there for the perpetrators, and they're falling behind with their agenda. We're good at spotting the current thing but perhaps that's just there to hypnotize us, lull us into a false security. The whole great awakening thing itself feels fake, a new age surge into the vacuum created by the singularity 'you will eat bugs, own nothing, and fear climate change' religion.

I already have the S9 Space Heater.

It's fit for purpose. D-Central did a great job with the refurb, silent fans, and sourcing the cryptocloaks case.

Next level would be the S17 or S19. Maybe they go on sale after the halvening, that window of a year of so when the block reward has dropped but the fiat price of bitcoin hasn't caught up.

There's a great study in the character of Samwise Gamgee, who was steady not just because he was a hobbit from the shire but also because his big vision and cause was simply to care for and serve his neighbour. In the end, the grand plot pivoted on humble Sam, the servant leader, who overcame ring's allure at the most critical moment because... he was focused on something other than himself.

It's good to have a sense of individual sovereignty, liberty, and ruggedness... but that shouldn't tip us so far away from the 'collective' that we lose sight altogether of our neighbour. Especially now when the whole system is geared towards isolating us through hyperindividualisation.
