That sentence caught my attention as well.

I have missed that chart for 4 complete years, or worse 7 considering the first unintentional BTC purchase to a wallet.dat that I lost lol. Starting 2017 I was always saying, oh those Bitcoin maxis what are they thinking 🤔 7 transactions per second! Are you kidding me?

So, I didn't invest, I didn't learn, I wasn't curious enough to ask, and instead I kept fighting fiat bosses for pennies until it gradually but surely and suddenly sunk in and I woke the fuck up.

I would only do college if I'd be applying for jobs outside. For example wanting to get a work visa in Europ or Gulf countries, UAE, Qatar for whatever reason.

If you have a slight interest in either art or technology, I recommend pursuing a digital form of either.

With help of Pro AI subscription, teach yourself how to either use drawing softwares or build automation scripts.

Something that just came up to me is technical writing, or writing in general. While learning, not only write a diary, convert your learning to a blog, vlog, or whatever digital form you like, maybe habla.news articles or flare.pub videos.

It will be a long journey, but you can do it.

Good luck

I grew up in a low-income family where we could barely afford basic necessities, until the 2014-2016 crisis in Venezuela hit and I had to drop out of university to work construction so we could have enough food to pass the month. Luckily, we never went hungry because everyone in my house worked.

One day, I got tired of working construction and saw an opportunity to sell bread outside my house because bread was scarce due to the crisis. The bread business was successful, and the flexible hours allowed me to have free time to research different ways to "make money online." I discovered a few forums that paid a little bit of sats for creating posts, and that's how I slowly started to get into the world of bitcoin. I began creating my first content to upload online and be rewarded for it. Unbeknownst to me, I had started to monetize my hobby of photography, which eventually became my way of surviving the crisis and even helping my poorest family members, who needed it most.

In the midst of all this crisis, many Venezuelans began to leave the country in search of a better future. Even all the people I grew up with in my home left, and today, I am the only one left in Venezuela from my family nucleus. My mom, dad, aunts, siblings, and cousins are all outside of Venezuela. I am the only one who stayed, and it is because of the power of bitcoin that I am still able to pay for my life in Venezuela. In some way, I am "living the dream" because I am living off of what I love to do, and that is thanks to bitcoin tecnology and all of you too.

I never liked it and always reached the point where a custom would be better. Either trimmed down micro blogging CMS or an ecommerce application.

I just watched the #movie, Vice. I think this is one of the most horrible things I have ever seen.

It is well acted, no doubt. But the ternary of the US politics shown and the fact that it was shown as a 'movie', while nothing has changed, and even worse, some of those decision makers are still in power and running for higher positions is beyond everything.

Instead of shoving these assholes in jails, entire nations get labelled as terrorists and get bombarded... wow!

Good morning 🌅 🏖️ ☕

&& Happy Genesis Block Day

This seems to have given way more weight than it should lol.

There are no technological statements behind wearing a T with a cute blue whale. It's nice, it's cool, it's blue, or simply, it might have been the next accessible piece in their wardrobe.

I think some devs need to take a serious break from emacs-vim-style warfronts. I mean, I normally don't care, but it kinda feels sad seeing tech people hitting on each other and think it is funny.

Now back to docker tech, there are people whose job is to ship containers for production, docker or whatever, who cares. It is a thing and they get paid for doing it. Obviously as part of a larger task set; DevOps, SRE, ..., the point.

I'd let them be proud of what they want. Or should I instead tell them, what you do sir is a hack, it is no real tech, don't be proud? What? Why?

My understanding of nostr:npub1jt97tpsul3fp8hvf7zn0vzzysmu9umcrel4hpgflg4vnsytyxwuqt8la9y book, Bitcoin: Everything Divided By 21 Million, as I was telling some friends about his work.

I'm yet to read the book though 😅

Amazing library! I was just interested as I see whatever you have recommended definitely worked out ^_^

I'm not, but I have relatives in Czech so I wanted to share these resources with them as well.

There is a nice booklet by a friend nostr:npub1dpna3xwwddnhhzg9ycpvlcz2ze0jdwm2rf3eqd2lf9leaewtq7tqhw0ef2 that I recommend to those with super tight schedules. I think it is worth checking.

I'm not that guy, but I actually wear mine sometimes outside, I think it is cool 😀

Why do you think we need help?

How's the weather Jan and Feb? What do people wear in these months?
