For anonymizing larger amounts, where Lightning might not be the best fit, I think swapping into XMR and then swapping back into BTC on-chain in multiple time-delayed TXs to different addresses might be another way.
Should we split XMR>BTC swaps into common UTXO sizes like those used by Whirlpool? That would help make it harder for the swap provider to pick out an individual and their resulting UTXOs.
So in the light of the recent #samouraiwallet takedown: do any of you have a good tool to backup FOSS projects?
Basically I would want a complete copy of the git as well as the releases, webpage, READMEs and perhaps issues and PRs.
All that packaged so that I can periodically update that screenshot and if the project is taken down I can access that snapshot without any references to the live site.
This looks really useful! Swap fees to liquid have gone down substantially and this allows newbs to use lightning without having to worry about channels and liquidity.
It's just not competitive for the sub 1$ TXs.

Can you get a working download of the apk from there? I can't seem to find any. It seems like it only archived the HTML pages and not the actual files in the repo. Also the releases are not downloadable.
You can still and probably should go to https://samouraiwallet.com and save the recent apk signatures and pgp keys. That way if someone has a copy saved somewhere, you can install that and trust its authenticity.

Muun is not really a lightning wallet but an on-chain wallet which swaps all incoming lightning txs into on-chain txs and when you pay using lightning, you send on-chain to swap into lightning and have the invoice paid for you.
No more efficient than paying on-chain for everything.
Halving confessions: I set an alarm for 40mins before the estimated time of block 840.000 to get some sleep as I had to work early in the morning.
Miners did a lil sprint and I woke up 6mins late 😑.
Missed it but still saw the nice halving block animations on my own mempool instance.

I set it up as a limited time experiment from the start. I found Carnivore to be quite complex to integrate in everyday life, especially in a work day, so I tried it in a 15day window where I was off work and had more time preparing food.
Back on omnivore because of above mentioned complexity especially if you eat socially.
Never had less poop related issues than during my brief #carnivore experiment.
