I truly think this type of use case is very close to unlocking a whole new leg of nostr userbase growth that will simply not be very active on nostr's social network (at first).

All the people that have reached out to me are INCREDIBLY motivated (they had to jump through a bunch of hoops to contact me, including reading what the hell nostr is!)

They all have the type of problem highlighter goes for in their mind for literally 15/20 years (interestingly enough, all people point to a number of year in this range).

TWITTER HACK UPDATE

After a week of trying to address my Twitter hack, I just woke up to find it’s happening again. I’m locked out of my account, no access, scam tweets on my profile.

I have tried EVERYTHING to get my account back to normal:

- Yubikey

- Changing password 10 times

- Changing email on account

- Remove 3rd party apps

- Remove developer apps

NOTHING IS WORKING

I keep asking for help and getting nothing. I put a lot of time into my account. After 10 years of work in this industry Twitter is what allowed me to be recognized.

It’s the only reason people care about my work and now it’s being stolen and it’s honestly so fucking embarrassing and painful.

I know many people will laugh. They feel like I deserve it for running an engagement account.

Anyway, I am asking for help. I honestly have no idea what to do

How do we support small creator accounts?

Talking to a creator, she mentioned that, in her experience over the past 2 months, the average zap amount per user in Nostr is an order of magnitude lower compared with other networks for the same content. So, even if she becomes a big account, it still wouldn't be good for her to stay in Nostr. I have heard similar anecdotes from others.

But what worries me the most is that the expected revenue calculations for creators always assumes a large account. Which not everyone will achieve.

We shouldnt be a network where only large accounts can collect enough revenue to survive.

So, how do we help small creators find a path to a living wave in Nostr?

I’m struggling to see it… I’ve followed him of and on for 15 years, he’s interesting, but as a toy… not as a leader.

Twitter is down for me, which is a good excuse to check Nostr.
