BitFlyer getting all TRUST regulated. No more freedom at all.

And Binance opening in JP with limited tokens and functionality and fully KYC.

Regulations are getting worse.

No more futures for me I guess.

Looking forward to when the world accepts Bitcoin as a store of value, a medium of exchange and not some investment asset that they can tax the shit out of.

JP better fix up their ridiculous crypto tax laws soon. It’s not income. At least tax it like capital gains.

Todays beer. A Yuzu lager. I was worried it would be too sweet, but it was actually a good balance. Don’t usually drink lagers but the slight fruitiness reminded me of an ale. It also felt a little more bitter a usual lager.

Crumbed pork chops came out well! So delicious. It’s pan fried so it’s not quite like real とんかつ but the way I do it.

I add salt, white pepper and thyme powder to the flour, mustard to the egg and Parmesan to the panko. Gives a great flavor.

Salad was super great today too with the toasted sesame and sunflower seeds.

An interesting way to think of AI:

It's just an insanely good compression algorithm. However, rather than being able to extract all of the images and text it is trained on word for word like we normally do with compressed files, it stores a highly generalized relationship between one set of words and another, and one set of pixels and another. So you can't pull an exact image like you can from a zip file, but you can pull the *idea* of a cat, the *style* of Wes Anderson, and the common patterns of a landscape. It's a compression of ideas and context as a collective, rather than the compression of the exact group of individual images that can be later recalled.
