It should be everyone’s. I’ve never had at home before. (The soup and noodles were just store bought packaged stuff though hahaha. Takes hours to make the real pork bone broth and stinks so much)

Just made delicious ramen at home .

So amazing. My favorite. 横浜家系. Made my wife a more generic 豚骨 ramen.

Accidentally I prepared double portions for each of us! So obviously ate hers too, totaling three portions for me.

AND then I finished the soups off by adding rice as a “risotto”.

I am dead. But happy.

Oh nice energy companies selling power in bitcoin.

Weird just because it’s fully circular. Pay for power in bitcoin to generate bitcoin

Drinking a ice cold beer in the dark in a hot bathtub is the best

Going to be weird when miners pay bitcoin for their electricity in order to receive bitcoin for their mining.

I think about Romans 12:18 often:

> If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.

This is my goal in all my interactions. But it's complicated by the previous verse:

> Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.

Truth and kindness can be hard to reconcile. This is why it's such a miracle that the Psalmist prophetically declares:

> Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed. Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

It is impossible for God's rigid truth and peace among men to coexist as long as our sin persists. You can't have peace with an angry person. You can't get a lazy person to exercise mercy. You can't get a person bound by their lust to tell the truth about it. These are intractable problems without divine help. This is why it's such good news that Jesus has sent us his Holy Spirit:

> It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

The Sprit first softens our hearts to admit our faults. Then the real work of righteousness and the Kingdom of Heaven can begin. Finally, that work is evaluated.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

Love Romans12 - all of Romans, actually. A pastor I watch online a lot often says "It takes two to tango ; but only one to make peace."

Speaking the truth in love and kindness, is the hardest - whether with a stranger or a spouse. It's mostly ourselves that get in the way. Trying to wrestle the other person's mind. Humility, and grace are key, but so hard to practise in every moment.

Thank God for His Spirit in us. But these qualities don't come without conscious submission and surrender in such moments. We have to unlearn human nature of the flesh.

Thanks for sharing!

In the future I can imagine myself having multiple wallets, be it Lightning or ecash, which I segregate by use case and use some app that abstracts these being categories like “groceries” or “entertainment” etc, allowing me to budget each month by just automatically topping up each wallet appropriately at month start from a main Bitcoin wallet.

I can imagine working in layers of decreasing liquidity like this. Almost like the storage/memory layers in computers. They get bigger and slower where you access them less frequently

How does gravity work to flat earthers? Is it based on the same physics? Surely if you're near the edges of the flat disc, the gravitational pull would no longer be downward but have a diagonal pull. Things wouldn't fall vertically in places like Australia or South Africa.

Anybody have recommendations for podcasts about #QuantumComputing ?

I love wearing a suit. Very seldom do though. Maybe that’s why I love it.

Dressing up does give a sense of showing respect to those you’re with, though I’d never expect it of anyone or feel disrespected without it

Laziness is an enemy of improvement.

Don’t give up on things because they’re inconvenient. If you believe in them, work to improve them

二千百兆 the maximum number of sats to ever exist. 21e14.

In Japanese 10^8 is 一億 (oku) so 1bitcoin is 1 oku sats.

But with 21m Bitcoin, that means 21x10^14 sats. 10^12 is 1兆 (chou) in Japanese. So we’d have 2100兆 sats ever created. You can write 2100 with characters for “two thousand hundred” 二千百, so altogether it’s 二千百兆 (ni sen hyaku chou) sats

I wonder what the trends are like so the regard to engineers starting on Bitcoin projects vs shitcoin projects now compared to 4 years ago.

Are people starting to realize the shitness and see where the real value is yet?

Worked for me! Was never excessive. I don’t even remember it hurting ever. Think it was just the concept of punishment. Which is something everyone should understand and young kids (and some adults) maybe can’t reason about yet.
