Yeah I was thinking of that. But was ideally thinking in terms of not having a 3rd party.
A bounty-type Q&A note kind would be cool. Say for example, you have a question you really want answered. So much so, that you put up a bounty of sats to the best answer (or best answers).
At some point (time limit? ad-hoc?) you select your favorite answer to which the sats get sent.
Not sure it'd be possible to lock up the sats to ensure someone gets paid though, without knowing the recipient in advance.

Any suggestions for a secure/encrypted text editor? Or some sort of encrypted container? (on Ubuntu)
Use-case: I want to make notes that are encrypted at rest on my computer. Ideally it would be encrypted in memory/swap etc. too but that's probably asking too much. Basically I don't want to have to decrypt/encrypt manually each time and don't want to run the risk of leaving non-encrypted versions lying around.

The only thing is that you cannot delete your data or your identity. Not that there is any guarantee about that with other mainstream services either (even with GDPR etc). But the term “owning one’s data” might give that impression.

The equation is basically Hash(x) < DIFFICULTY.
And it's solving for x. The method it uses to solve the equation just happens to be brute force guessing, but that doesn't mean it isn't solving a difficult equation. Try rewriting that equation with `x` on the left and you'll see how difficult it is.
