Does damus feature vanity or pow keys in any way? To see the actual key on amethyst I had to go to your profile and copy the key to clipboard, unless I missed something (nice key by the way). Just not that user facing

I think it depends on what you're targeting. Amazing software gets developed without the easy ui of GitHub. I believe the Linux kernel is still mailing list based. But the easy ui and convince of GitHub with workflows and CIs is a different thing

Think it depends what you're going for. If it's to provide all the same functions and easy ui think that'll be more then bash

GitHub provides alot of development toolin, might be more then a bash script

Wow a scientology ad

It's a notification transaction so the receiver knows to look for payments from you and can calculate the receiving address.

Technically it doesn't have to be on chain but if it's not it makes backups more complicated.

Its an http request, port 80 or 443 for https.

It's interesting to scroll though with absolutely no context.

Your client keeps a list of everyone you follow. You can choose to what relays you publish that list in a kind 3 event, When you go to a new client it pulls that list from the relays so it knows who to follow. This can cause an issue if the client you move to cannot find what relays your kind 3 is published to, finds an old list. Or publishes an event overwriting it as may have happened here.

Makes it expesive to open new channels. But in the long run agree

What are the specs on it?
