This is a very nuanced perspective and 💯% true.
But in today's world especially it's not only people who never leave their homes, who feel lonely. I'm sure Rira-san must have felt and other people who seem to lead regular life also sometimes feel lonely & for those who feel such momentary loneliness it's helpful 🫂
For those who experience severe loneliness and stay at home, a hug is just a starting point & continued friendship & care maybe more helpful. This is what I think, but I am not an expert on social behaviour.

I guess backend doesn't get users excited 😅 but I feel that there's active chat happening between all client devs & if there was a parallel chat between relay ops, that would be cool (maybe there's a telegram group? 🤔)
But if I visit Japan, I will try and meet as many Nostr village people as I can 🫂🫂
I wasn't there -- but I wanted to see whether Japanese relay operators were there were few sessions on relay ops. (I don't think global relay operators were there )
