I'm not sure if he's considered a great programmer (probably not) but I like Peter Norvig's Design of Computer Programs .
That's cool that Ren-san learns for learning itself 😎 but we live in a society that believes in credentials mostly, so I hope that for all the effort , Ren-san gets one.
I think the training and thought process behind math is useful. Like being able to think abstract, reduce a problem to its simplest form, making connections between different concepts are useful beyond mathematics itself
If Poman-san liked it, then I think you'll enjoy everyday simple home-cooked indian dishes, which don't have so much butter and cream like butter chicken.
That's also a dish in India. But I don't know about origins.

Maybe that's true - but indian cuisine has been influenced by so many cultures, that it's not possible to say what's only indian. Even South Indian curry uses tomatoes and chilli which were introduced to India by Portuguese/Dutch settlers
