Hey, your Alby lightning address in the LN field is enough to receive zaps.
You need Nostr Wallet Connect only to send zaps. For that you can use the same Alby account to connect to Damus, Snort and many other apps that support Nostr Wallet Connect.

I have not been able to transfer an amount from nostr:npub15369wu3wzzar5fclhecyqfv683x69n6nhlg7rxqnsg2dydgxflpq3apswl to my Alby wallet using the Bitcoin address I get under my wallet options.
The process returns an error.
Have you asked nostr:npub15369wu3wzzar5fclhecyqfv683x69n6nhlg7rxqnsg2dydgxflpq3apswl if they cannot payout to a certain bitcoin address type?

Alby does currently not charge any transaction fee for payments over the lightning network. Users only pay the network fees.

Yes, current has a native wallet. Web clients usually use WebLN; mobile clients (Damus, Amethyst, Nostur, Primal) support NWC to connect a wallet; Nostrudel and zap.stream are using Bitcoin Connect which based on WebLN/ NWC
