From what I know we follow the NIP-47 spec and haven't received similar notifications from other apps.

Any hints like screenshots or a check if the website was accidentally blocked would help a lot to avoid this issue for other users, too.
The Alby extension is available on Firefox Android with the same functionality as on desktop browsers.

Did you check if the website was not accidentally blocked in your Alby settings? I assume you used the same account as always in the extension with the private key.

To make a payment to another person, Alby needs to request and receive the invoice first. Maybe on the way to Alby something is not working. Are you zapping with the browser extension or did you connect your wallet directly to a Nostr app?

Hmm try remove any LNurl’s/wallets from nostr client side, then remove your npub from Alby, start fresh and add your npub to Alby… I may be wrong but that’s what I would try

It should be enough to replace your lightning address in your Nostr profile with an Alby lightning address.
It might take some time until all clients are aware of that change. We sometimes see that zaps still go to the old wallet for some time.

That is possible with Nostr Wallet Connect
Apps will become wallet interfaces and offer send, receive, balance, list payments functions. But they don't need to become a wallet themselves.
Damus, Nostur, Amethyst and many other apps already support NWC.
