iirc good local cash flow businesses: landscaping, house cleaning, pest control, storage centers, laundry mats, dry cleaners, car washes, barbers, car detailing … struggling to think of more.
I used to hack on redis a lot and I always enjoyed seeing the ascii logo on startup.
almost forgot to add this critical part to booger
Saw a puppet show in Austin that was an amazing live production of a family traveling the Oregon Trail. Only puppets (surprisingly!) would let you experience - live - the audacious scale of the journey.
Then the director had to ruin it by explaining that the moral of the story was “the white man’s insatiable thirst for more things that don’t belong to him.”
Yes! I’ll 🤞deploy it next week
Booger release v0.0.1 fixes a pretty serious plugin race condition. No one is probably using booger yet, but if you are - upgrade it

Yeah! I didn’t mean it like *that* you know? More of an observation than a declaration.

Booger, a nostr relay, release v0.0.0-sigma is out and ready to play with (if you want).
The release contains executables for most platforms and for each platform a runtime-restricted and unrestricted executable.
imo it has a solid configuration/dev ux and is at least a nice candidate for a local toy relay until I begin wrangling with it in prod.

Booger compiles, has a cli, and imo a really nice configuration UX now. Hoping to have alpha builds available tomorrow for testing.
Yeah, we don’t have a way currently. Tbh we wanted them to stay open if they were unpaid so that people could look at someone’s bounty history and figure out if they are “good for the money.”
The case where replies were only junk wasn’t really considered. It makes sense to be able to stop receiving submissions, even beyond this case.
The bliss of finding code written by someone with good taste.
Is NMN or NR in the stack?

I would like to close this one out. People keep chucking garbage AI summaries at it and I don't want to read them all.
I see. You're just tired of the notifications? We never anticipated this kind of things with bounties, but we've been meaning to allow people to mute threads.
