We all screw up and that’s ok, especially if we are willing to be accountable and make amends to our errors. What’s not ok is to use anyone’s screwup against them to beat them mentally and emotionally. Toxic people do this and it’s not ok. Toxic people create endless chaos and confusion in relationships. If you are always to blame for all of it, according to them anyway, you are probably not "THE PROBLEM". We can’t tell who it is that’s a narcissist until we can. Thinking we can always tell immediately often sets us up to judge those who aren’t and get fooled by those that are. Domination and control is the only thing a narcissist really understands. They learn everything they can in order to gain more control. Once we see what they're doing though, it makes it much easier to defend against it if we can't simply just leave. Finding good people and support helps even more. #grownostr
More often than not, we need a little time to let ourselves and our emotions settle a little. It's not easy to do, but taking a moment and a few deep breaths can be life changing. Narcissists always want more and there's never enough of that. They will continue to take from you until you stop giving or are completely empty. We must start giving to ourselves to get out of this cycle. They will be angry about not getting more, but they going to be angry anyway.
