Old father with young kids here. My kids have given me a new perspective on life; it’s like traveling to a foreign land, confronting and exhilarating at the same time. I never felt such joy while simultaneously pulling my hair out.
Looked like a painting at first because of the beautiful color and texture in that window.

"Silence Among the Clouds" is a quartet born to listen to the sky.
Each canvas holds a fragment of time, a passage of light that turns into memory.
"The Promise" opens the cycle: a gentle voice whispered by the horizon before everything begins.
"The Waiting Thunder" carries the silent tension, the suspended breath of what is about to arrive.
"The Fading Glow" is the lingering brightness, fragile yet persistent, a flame unwilling to yield to the dark.
And finally, "The Last Ember", the day’s final spark, burning for one last instant before it disappears.
Four gazes upon the same sky, four silences that intertwine.
Together they tell a whole cycle, yet each painting, on its own, preserves its unique voice.

Epic! That’s impressive to take an old sail boat to Antarctica, I don’t know much about sailing, but I imagine that area poses more challenges.
Our dog is so beautiful. I didn’t grow up with many pets but my children will.
Time. I’ve begun to notice the beauty of the vernacular. I had a professor who went on endlessly about it when I was a youngster, and here I am photographing it.
I try to buy quality things because I intend to pass them down to my kids. So far they’re each getting an automatic watch, a Leica and a hand made bushcraft knife, all of them well used.
My wife loves to make bouquets from the flowers in our garden. #grownostr #photography
