This answer is partially correct, the Okuboi bamboo (center of pic) is escaping the planter, but it's not even cracked π π€·ββοΈ
I'll zap you for guessing mostly right π

These bamboo planters are made from 4ft culverts cut in half from my neighbors. They wanted to get rid of them, asked if I wanted them and I said yeah, but only if they're halved. So they had their handyman cut them and I scooped them up with my tractor forks. There's 8 of them planted to a variety of bamboo. I will give the answer in another comment soon. #grownostr #bamboo
Can you spot the problem here? Picture is some of my running bamboo collection in concrete culvert planters.

Any recommendations for fertilizer for seedlings once they have true leaves #growNostr #permaculture
If you want something water soluble and simple, some kind of organic liquid fish hydrolysate fertilizer, ideally with humates and kelp as well. I get my transplants all the way to transplant stage without any added fert by adding compost and a number of other amendments to the mix, including a pelletized organic fertilizer available in our area called MicroLife. I also use their liquid fert called ocean harvest for a root dip before transplanting in the field, if you look that up you'll prob be able to find something comparable in your area. #grownostr
Thanks! It's a bog filter or wetland filter made from a poly stock tank. A submersible pond pump in the deep end pumps to a manifold of slotted pipe in the bottom of the bog filter, it then flows up through the pea gravel and gravity flows/siphons back to the pool. This is how I built it: texasecofarms.com/pool-to-pond-the-bog-filter #grownostr
sweet, that's pretty close. no it's sitting on a little patio area of the pool. check out this blog for more deets: https://texasecofarms.com/pool-to-pond-the-bog-filter/
For sure. I wish I'd used a 10ft poly tank, one of those gray ones
Snort has been really buggy lately. Or is it just me? Iris.to seems to be working better. I like certain features of each. What desktop client is your favorite?

It's the 625 gal 8 ft. x 2 ft. from tractor supply (https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/round-plastic-stock-tank-8-ft-x-2-ft) ... which now costs $699?! I think I paid $280 for it. You only need 12 inches of gravel above the pipes though so this thing is oversized height wise

Where are you located? This is for seedlings in trays? Any fertility in your seedling mix?
