It was a project happening in the 2000s. You can Google it but you will probably get better answers on brave or something else. There are some good documentaries on it as well.

I get a message saying it can't verify npub?
I kept trying but it didn't seem to be working. I got the dm but then sends me right to the paywall and I don't see any free tier?
It seems to just keep sending me to pay wall. I'm not trying to pay to just put up a profile pic
