While your first statement may be true, it‘s also correct that people with money & influence can steer the direction of development. And in this regard there have been a couple of surprising remarks by the man who once wrote the foreword to The Bitcoin Standard!
I would disagree on your first sentence. During the 19th century up until WWI, a lot of governments didn’t have the monopoly on money and didn’t do the worse for it. It‘s all up to the ethics of those in power IMHO. And reverting to sound money would be one heck of a legacy for any president!
Going against the original purpose of #bitcoin shows his real colours. Sad, but better now than later!
IMHO, this is also (another) call to action against many developments for/with #bitcoin that will ultimately undermine its original purpose. The USD hegemonists will leave no stone unturned to prop up their unsound money & monetary system!
