Had trouble at first as well - but subscription did start working. Just not the first episode. I think the episode was available the next day. Maybe app/ fountain backend needed to refresh.

Something controversial…or not really! FLUORIDE and Toothpaste.

Well, this was something that was honestly shoved down our throats back in dental school. You’d learn the chemistry, the science etc etc. so you could simply parrot it back to patients.

As a dentist, I think its efficacy is overblown and I don’t see a reason for it to be in the water. What concerns me more is the absolute GARBAGE they put in the toothpastes. The Colgates, Oral-Bs of the world all generally have some kind of abrasive in them. It’s like brushing your teeth with sand. And guess what, if it’s any of that charcoal crap or claims to be a ‘whitening’ toothpaste you may as well brush with sand. Toothpaste should feel like smooth peanut butter to your fingers.
