I think it has to do with replies, I have the OG note muted as well but still get notifications for replies to that and replies to replies of it.

Definitely relatable. I think most don’t recognize the struggle. Apparently those who lose siblings/family to it are also more predisposed to do it too. Perhaps that’s related.
