I believe so. But I just looked up that tweet and no address or txid is given…so…I call bullshit
Indeed, communication isn't great. 💯
Now AFAIK only one side has been (still is)
- sueing people calling out their BS
- doxxing pseudonymous developers
- censoring / blocking systematically (Twitter, ...)
- collaborating with chain surveillance, censoring tx.
- sponsoring iNfLuEnCeRs like crazy 💰💰💰
Not saying other team aren't spooks. I have no idea. For all we know, everyone could be.
But this can't be ignored, and explains the heat they get in return. Justified.
If you're really interested, with a quick search you'll find plenty of arguments &, blog posts about the coinjoin protocols, etc. I'm not going to start a new one here.
Go use the tools, read and talk on their Telegram where communication is much nicer.
Regardless of the temper of some devs, one project is actually good. Still has trade-offs, and that's okay.
Other project is actually a clown show.
It's muddy, so if you don't like it or don't care, just don't talk about it like it's not important. It's *very* important.
Now if you want to know more, just get dirty and learn. It's totally worth the effort and the mud :)
Or maybe check this out first? This episode was... Special 🤯

By clown show do you mean that using one project will not deliver on chain privacy?
Because that’s really the most important question is it not?
My understanding (and I have done research, though my understanding could be flawed) is that proper use of both tools delivers privacy
lmao aaaah I’m in the mud
Actually no, I’m not saying don’t do your own research.
I am saying that I’ve seen dishonest takes from both sides, and personal attacks from both sides, and then people piling on further muddying the waters.
So here’s your opportunity, since you clearly have a side: what about the PRODUCT (not the people) makes it so clear that one is not a useful and valid tool?

oooh nice, thank you! Is this your repo?
It looks like this is geared toward watching for events, which I don’t really need to do. I’m trying to just have a Cron job that publishes kind 1 events, but am having trouble establishing (or maintaining?) relay connections. Is it aionostr that is being used to do this here?
No problem. From there the next logical step is giving the merchant easy access to bitcoin to fiat conversion (if they can’t or don’t want to hold large bitcoin balances)
Open Node and strike offer this service
I think the best way would be to contribute to btc pay server https://btcpayserver.org/
You could also set up a small consultancy to help businesses stand up and manage their own btc pay server
The other day I was thinking about badges and the use case of “NFTs” helping support artists.
Artist puts something up for sale, buyer pays, and then they both sign the badge (art) as a receipt. That way if you want to show off that you supported the artist you have the badge (art + sig) but there’s no need to store any of that on chain, because at the end of the day “NFTs” are just transferable receipts. Do they really need to be transferable?

Good thought. Stay safe out there peeps. Use a nym and use a VPN!

In Snow Crash the United States has completely balkanized.
But there are still little patches of US federal government land where true-believer government employees come to work and wipe their butts with dollar bills.
I think there is much truth in this fiction
#[2] look he “did” something you’ll like
As an extension of their human creators, I guess? The AI itself is speech (code)
Yea I was trying it out. If you use the hashtag it will populate on this site:

Here’s Ministry of Brewing in Baltimore

I listen to Nic Carter’s VC podcast every Friday (Nic reports on regulatory stuff which I find interesting).
Last week they talked about putting restaurant reservations on a blockchain…🤦🏽♂️
