I meet people new to bitcoin who buy on coinbase. All these ETFs use coinbase as custodian of their bitcoin. Custody is becoming centralized in one place. If you have been around a while you know that coinbase crashes on high volume. Why would a small holder want to be part of this? They promote shitcoins. This company holds an enormous amount of other people's bitcoin.
Get your coins off all exchanges. Self custody. Holding your own keys is not just for us paranoid crypto anarchists.

For any of you newbies holding bitcoin on Coinbase, don't get too anxious when you can't access your account during periods of high volume trading. It's sort of a tradition.

I think something went wrong. You didn't need to open a channel. The Alby hub just connects to your node. It seems you may have been setting up a second, stand alone node.
