Good morning nostrworld! I have a busy Monday ahead, but right now its time for coffee and a little while of planning and quietness. I have deskwork I need to do for a while, then I still need to put labels on my lip balm sticks. And I'm almost out of toothpaste, so I'll need to make more of that. Mostly all just catching up and maintenance of things. Supposed to be rainy and cool again, but I want to get out there and check all the new trees.

A friend of mine said she will be hatching new chicks this coming spring, and offered to give me a few if I want them. So I think I'll take a few so we can have more eggs. I eat eggs just about every day, I love them.

Hey nostr, I've been out of sorts again today. I think its a combination of the days being so short now, plus we havent had sunshine in 3 days. But I'm plenty busy with things, and I just got back from an afternoon meeting at church. I still need to label my lip balm tubes, then I'll be done with those. Our peafowl are growing a little, and we're still not sure of their sex. I'm also a little sad that one of the chickens died. I noticed for a couple days that she was lethargic, and i checked for injuries, but could see nothing obvious. She came up to me yesterday, like she just wanted me to pet her, so i did. I know some of you might think its silly, but I'm sad about it.

Anyway, we're settling in for the evening, and maybe I'll do some reading for a while. Yall have a good evening nostr friends, and be kind to yourself. #grownostr #countrylife #homesteading
