There is nothing more dogmatic than sharing a belief in a common language.
Ledger Live Tracks and Sends ALL User Information to Outsourced Data Harvesting Service
"The tracking code is too structural to be just counting users and downloads, like regular apps do. Ledger Live is doing analytics on everything from screen views, to button clicks, error events, installs, uninstalls, etc. It's basically tracking everything. Anything you do on that app gets tracked."

How does this effect those using the Ledger Hardware wallet without using Ledger Live?
My new take on presidential politics is that it is as when Ghostbusters where to ‘choose the form of their Destructor!’
A contrarian view to what one typically sees on the Nostr:
>
>****The bitcoin delusion****
>
> That currencies are being increasingly debased is so obvious to speculators and small-time investors that they are simply dazzled by the maths behind bitcoin. The easiest thing to understand is that if you invent a form of money which cannot be expanded beyond a certain limit, then its value is bound to rise, measured in a rapidly expanding currency. This has led fans to predict prices of $250,000 and upwards, so who wouldn’t want to believe in it?
>
> Putting aside the controversy as to whether bitcoin has or will ever have the status of money, it is being bulled up by almost everyone involved on the basis that they stand to make enormous profits, in guess what — dollars or their own currency. While everyone says it is taking the monetary initiative away from the state and back to the people where it should belong, they are merely speculating for gain, not intending to hold bitcoin to spend when there is a lawless successor to our dysfunctional world.
> Like the economists who fail to distinguish between money and credit, bitcoin hodlers seem to think that money and credit are the same thing. Apparently, this makes bitcoin a better store of value than gold whose quantity increases as it is mined. But in their land of Cockaigne, if the world’s circulating media is limited to 21,000,000 bitcoin whose value is designed to continue rising, the creation of credit will all but cease. The world will return to the feudal conditions that existed before credit became available to finance the industrial revolution.
>
> Bitcoin is not a substitute for or competitor with gold for the status of money. The bitcoin delusionists fail to grasp the importance of price stability, which only comes from credit whose value is firmly anchored to gold, together with the fact that gold is understood to be money everywhere, while bitcoin is assumed to be so only among its profit-seeking enthusiasts.
>
> Money is and only ever has been metallic gold, silver, and copper. And the only practical monetary standard is the one metal which has almost no other use than as a store of value — gold.
From [Gold and flying money](https://www.goldmoney.com/research/gold-and-flying-money) by Alasdair Macleod
When you don't seem to understand that much more than metallic gold, silver, and copper has been money, the rest of what you say becomes suspect.
Indeed. Selling value is different than selling time. Those who think labor is what they are buying don't know that difference.
🚨You can register your garden with the government now. https://www.fsa.usda.gov/news-room/news-releases/2022/usda-opens-peoples-garden-initiative-to-gardens-nationwide
I hope nobody ever does. 🖕🖕
Some people think registering their gardens with the Federal Government might be a good idea. So far, only “Gardens on federal property . . . are required to donate produce.“
We are taught what we must take on faith, and as we learn, too many lose faith.
Aren't cells already tiny recording devices?

Why should water be different?
There are some boomers around here, and I do hope for 10 more years of stacking
The article reports the ‘outlawed potato’ is suitable for small farming, but was decertified for commercial production by the Canadian Government in 1976- hinting that the decertification was for corporate commercial interests.
If they can outlaw a potato for corporate interests, it should be no surprise what else might be proscribed for the sake of corporate interests.
The race is on to a fossil free economy or a BTC defacto economy. How many sats do you think an old 240Z will cost in that future year?
Remember Gozer, from the ‘Ghostbusters,’ demanding “Choose the form of the Destructor!’
Some people believe we are being given a second chance and we are about to choose Trump.
I am amused by that.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a nostr python library? I would like to automate a raspberry pi to send DMs to my primary nostr account when condition warrant an alert.

Why assume the gender of the hole?
It seems AI tools are making it more and more difficult to believe anything you see anywhere. thanks
I am an old man still learning about how susceptible to suggestion I have always been.
Greta Thunberg full speech at UN Climate Change COP25 - Climate Emergency Event 11 Dec 2019.

The video you posted appears to be altered. Too bad. I like the message, but the medium will give others reason to suspect the message.

I like this. I would like to share it, but I can't in good conscience because I don't have enough information about it. When did she speak? Where did she speak? Who documented the speech?
This sort of information would be useful for me to share the good news.
Thank you,
I am liking the getAlby integration on the Primal web. That won't change with this new #Primal iOS release will it?
I won't be using the new Wallet on the iOS app. That will mean I just can't zap from the iOS app, right? No issues with the Primal Web interface, right?
So with this release of Primal on iOS at the app store, will I no longer need the TestFlight version?
