I don't think it's syncing because it never stops spinning in the upper right. The txid it lists for that closure doesn't exist though so not sure if it's not updating with the correct info or what's happening.
This is the problem with testing everything I see. I have a feeling for the rest of my life I'll be finding small wads of sats stored all across the web.

The BBS is cool but I really want to see a program that I can run through my node to relay nostr events to my nostr relay.

It may be relay related if you don't always see some people. It can be useful to check relays for people that you want to follow and ensure you share relays to make it easier to find their posts.
I'd like to see a nostr relay that uses khatru to store events the same way podping stores RSS updates for podcasting 2.0 but charges a per event fee for storage.
