Ty. 🫂 His name is Ace. We've been hand feeding him meat today since he's really lethargic but that's also a side effect of the heavy first dose of anti-seizure meds they put him on today. Unfortunately he's got tumors on the liver, the stomach, the spleen & it's possibly has now spread to his brain. We're gonna keep him as comfortable as we can and just take things day by day & count our blessings that we still have him around for now until he shows us that he's ready to go.
He had a seizure overnight so we rushed him to the Animal Hospital and there it was discovered that he has terminal cancer. Could be a few days, could be a few months, we don't know unfortunately so we're gonna make the most of the time we've got left with him.
He's still a bit dazed and confused but we're gonna give him all the adventures he's up for while we're in Tennessee during his final days with us.
Well I hate that I've got bad news but they took X-Rays and my dog has terminal cancer. Not sure how much time he's got left with us unfortunately. 😔😔😔
Yeah, it's pretty nerve wracking especially when you can't talk to them to see what's wrong. We lost his brother just 6 months ago so I'm not ready to deal with this again. Hopefully the tests go well and I get some encouraging news.
They're running tests now and giving him an x-ray. His poop was black so they're concerned about some GI bleeding.
