It was only a matter of time before Apple banned #Nostr clients that use ⚡

No idea why anyone with a freedom tech background in #Bitcoin would ever consider using their products...

Nice! Unfortunately ended up passing on the show last night (seen King Gizz 6x in the past week and a half and got 3 more shows starting tonight) but I hope you had a blast. I hear the band is goin' out in grand fashion!

I get the question all the time: Are net carbs valid, or do you need to count total carbs?

After 5 years of eating mostly low carb, this is what I have settled on. If it is a whole food, yes, net carbs are valid. For example, an ounce of pine nuts has about 4 total carbs and 1 gram of fiber. Can you count this as 3 carbs? Absolutely.

Scientifically, we know the human body can't break down this fiber for calories. It can't influence blood sugar—period, the end, out.

Packaged food? No, you can't trust net carbs—period. YouTube is full of videos of keto/low-carb people who buy this stuff, check blood glucose levels, and show that it spikes blood sugar, in some cases worse than typical versions of the food.

Zero-carb tortillas are a perfect example, a total scam. Basically, eat whole foods, avoid any that are high in sugar, and if you practice 2MAD (Two Meals a Day), you really don't even have to think about it.

Want something to substitute for a tortilla? Here's what I did today: One egg, well beaten, with about an equal amount of shredded cheese mixed in. Add a small amount of water to thin it out a bit. Pour it into a pan and cook it on medium heat until it is solid enough to flip. Cook it until it is nicely browned on both sides and dries a bit.

Remove it from the pan and place it on some paper towel to drain the grease and let it cool. I topped it with bacon, fresh cheese, and cucumber salsa, and it was delicious. All whole foods. Oh, and USE GOOD, HIGH-QUALITY CHEESE.

If you eat this way for any length of time, you will soon be able to afford the best quality of almost everything. Most days, you will find yourself eating only twice, and you will naturally start consuming less volume without even thinking about it. Why? Nutrient density.

All the "keto-friendly" processed food is fuckin garbage. Replacing one junk food with another is not progress.

Only carbs I get are from a tall glass of raw milk a day + the raw butter i put on my steaks.

Thanks for the free #Bitcoin yahoo!

Interesting because the picture was up for a lil bit before being labeled as 'sensitive content' & I'm almost positive I didn't hit that eye button.

Is this something that can be done after initially posting the note? Because I was able to see the image on my feed after posting the note then it was marked as sensitive content a couple minutes later

I posted the note, the image appeared, after posting, then shortly after, it disappeared.

Not sure but either way, happier with Onyx anyways. I came here for the Censorship resistance so any app that chooses to deploy it can get fucked.

Haha, literally the one thing I have 0 tolerance for on social media is Censorship.

Mess with the bull, you get the horns 🐂🐂🐂

This was a pic of me grilling a steak on a balcony of a Motel 6 that was labeled as 'Sensitive Content'

Adios Amethyst. Hello Onyx 🤙

Posting a picture of grilling a steak on a balcony of a Motel 6 is apparently considered 'Sensitive Content' on Amethyst. Give me a Fn break.

Need to ditch Amethyst. Didn't come to #Nostr to be censored worse than I was on Twitter. Anyone got the link to the forked Amethyst?

Also doing a shitty job & pissing away his first mover advantage with his shitty pro-censorship app. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉

I'm sure that's next up on Vitor's authoritarian agendas. Never thought I'd see the day where O could say a Fn #Nostr client is more Censorship heavy than freakin' Twitter. Unbelievable 🤦🤦🤦

Even colder when you didn't bring the type of gear needed to brave the conditions. Oh well, lesson learned.
