Nostralgesic: to relieve pain (primarily from other social networks) π¬
There is also talk of that here in Australia though mostly because the current owner has gone into administration. The government have bailed them out with a $2b lifeline.
Itβs not going to help as the owner ran it into the ground and still have $1b in creditors.
Arguments are we shouldnβt be bailing out a private enterprise without ownership stake. Also a strategic asset.
Maybe a leisurely lake cruise for you then. I think they had wine π· π
Only been there once but I remember the view. Itβs so beautiful π
Also never been to a place thatβs so full of adrenaline from the adventure sports. It was definitely fun π€©
Enjoy π₯

alright here is the problem. we all know nostr:nprofile1qyxhwumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmvqyehwumn8ghj7mnhvvh8qunfd4skctnwv46z7ctewe4xcetfd3khsvrpdsmk5vnsw96rydr3v4jrz73hvyu8xqpqsg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q8dzj6n loves bitcoin, but his company's app, cash.app, apparently doesn't feel the same way. you can purchase a whopping $100k of bitcoin per week but guess what, you can't fucking withdraw more than $2k (yeah only $2k - that's my own account btw) per week. what kind of logic is that? jack, if you truly believe in self custody and freedom of ownership, fix this shit. stop letting your own app act like a fiat prison.

π interesting!
Our banks (Australia) have gone down this path too. From what I can tell theyβve done this to limit fraudulent payments/hacking etc but I think everyone agrees theyβve gone too far and now there is a push (albeit small at the moment) for a review of their practices and allow people to decide how to spend their own money without oversight.
Also our banks can be fined by the government for allowing money transfers that support terrorism or money laundering. So I guess they are trying to protect themselves.
Unfortunately the average customer loses out with more and more restrictions. π₯²
