I’ll look into it! We get slammed with credit card and pos transaction fees here in nz, sometimes gotta build this out as a chrome extension for retails man it would work so well

For the customer, its fairly straightforward and QR codes are the easiest. Any app or invoice generator will work ( #lightning and #bitcoin ).

Depends on the type of store owner experience you want. Automatic integration with tax and accounting software, automatic invoicing via a click of a button, automatic btc to cold storage ona regular cadence etc…

- btcpay server is at the top of my list

Thanks for the reply man, I’m just wanting to find a solution for the staff to be able to select Bitcoin payment through the light speed terminal select either on chain or lightning and which would send off the total carts value, push it back to the sell screen as a QR code for the customer to scan and that’s that, don’t want them to have to use a phone and a wallet- security issue etc, so far I haven’t found any solutions except develop it

We have started the process of liquidating our lives and are considering either South America, or the South Pacific.

We plan on leaving at the end of November/December. First we have to figure out how we want to travel. Our current setup (4x4 with offroad trailer/rtt) has been awesome for weeks/months long trips here but probably not quite good enough for a year long trip. We are looking at other setups. We are a bit limited in our options, due to the size of our family.

We are also looking into costs of shipping vs. flying to places and buying there, insurance, etc. Costs, ease of liscensing/insurance will most likely determine our pick between the two, but once we have that figured we will start planning the "actual" trip. We usually don't really "plan", just have a general idea of where we want to go.

Early days, but emptying our lives of "stuff" over the past few weeks has been liberating 😃
