Where do you get the certainty that users won't be able to make private tx in Bitcoin ? What if apps are built and it's a brainless click to select 'private' ? Are you not underestimating human innovation here ? The landscape is not static.
I'm not worried at all. But I would understand normie businesses that would be. Monero is so obvious that it hurts itself badly in terms of gaining meaningful adoption. And adoption is part of the plot, no? Or are you fanbois fine with a coin for the happy few?
The term "Crypto" means a very different thing today. I suggest you keep that in mind for future converstations, or you'll hear this a lot more.
Oof, where did I say I was scared? No need to put words in my mouth :-)
Oh please tell me what the plot is, "crypto" fanboi.
Is it just me, or this activity doesn't look normal? Is someone spamming the chain?

Ordinals spam.
Meh. Go for p2p instead.
Oh lol impressive.
They'll run out of money at some point. Already millions of dollars down the drain and spending around 100k a day now.
The maxmempool setting in your bitcoin.conf file is by default 300 MB. Your node purges low fee tx to limit its mempool to the configured max. You can increase this setting but your node can maybe not handle that.
Welp. Infinity stopped working, Fritter already broken for some time. Guess it's Nostr only from here on out...
Ah so here we have it. The crux of the matter. Alas, you're not interested in giving the people better money. Monero is a privileged coin for the happy few that have access to it and can transact anonymously. Bitcoin, however, has a bigger mission.
So please step aside and be gone with your privacy and scaling criticism, as you offer no alternative solutions in terms of a better global money. It's easy to criticize, maybe try some constructive feedback and ideas...
But how do you scale to mass adoption and replace fiat? Or are you just interested in YOUR ability to buy groceries anonymously?
Two can play at that game. Bitcoin is banned in several countries. Your argument is void :-)
Using quotes on smth I did not say. Ok then...
Everything is better than a chain for the happy few.
Literally nowhere did I say that. Celebrating no adoption on the other hand...
If you don't want or expect bigger adoption of xmr, then this fine. Then it's only for the happy few that can get access to it (privilege). Bitcoin is for everyone. I hate cexs as much as the next guy, but getting some (btc) instead of none (xmr) is better for adoption. No adoption means failure to replace fiat.
Banning bitcoin has become difficult as it has too much adoption, thanks to cexs. Banning xmr is easier and will further hurt adoption. No adoption means no value, means less adoption. Btw bitcoin is banned in some countries.
Bitcoin has financial privacy. You can buy and spend privately as it has more adoption and liquidity.
Monero has even less chances of achieving what you say. Bitcoin will indeed be a movement of decades, be humble and patient...
