These are the people you are supporting, anon.

Also, you do realize Bitcoin isn't a free market for whatever use case, right?

It's not a free market. There's a witness discount.

Highly advise you to watch Giacomo Zucco's recent talks on ordinals and censorship (it's not censorship). Giacomo is undecided on solutions for the spam (it's spam) but could see a viable option in removing the witness discount.

"Virtue signalers who falsely claim that they are "against censorship" are lying to themselves at best, or at worst maliciously lying to the public. Just like a politician who claims to be "for freedom" and then lets the PATRIOT Act stand, this is a basic form of fraud.

Any "Bitcoiner" you see on Twitter who says they are "against censorship" (with regards to the current OCEAN v. Spam thing) is a fraud and a liar. If they are TRULY against all censorship, then show me the PR for removing isValid() and isStandard() from Bitcoin Core."

Not only developers have fallen into this trap. Even popular influencoors like Odell were not humble enough and ended up defending ordinal shitcoins on Bitcoin in the name of fReeDoM.

I'm curious how Odell will take his responsibility on this once people get hurt by these scammers, seeing how he's always keen to point out the responsibility of others who made similar mistakes.

A question for all the brave ordinal defenders and cEnSorShiP warriors out there.

The irony... I guess they'll need to start "censoring" certain http requests.

Merry Christmas everyone, and a spammy NY ☺️

Noooooo, spam is a legitimate use case. Nooooooo...
