This sounds very useful, i also imagine part of the problem is just getting the delete event distributed. For now I used a blaster relay but they also only send to the X biggest relays. Would be cool if clients would rebroadcast important events like delete too.
At some point I think noscrypt (and my other work) is going to need some artwork and or logo to make the repo look pretty. I like simple things kind of like libsodium or OpenSSL, something sturdy, that feels like a trusted enterprise quality product.
Who knows someone for hire or donations to do simple design work like this?

There is definitely a narrative that nostr event should be permanent which I guess some relays enforce. Guess that's the most "delete" we can get😃

How much PoW did you set? I tried this a few days ago and it always said that the faucet wallet is empty.
No chance to get a larger amount in my experience (except you contact the maintainers I guess).
Mutinynet has a great faucet, but you need a fork of core.
