This update officially came out a couple days ago, so it’s possible you already have it installed. Check to see if you are running 2.1.49 in your settings
This is coming soon. Today’s release was just a quick fix for this.
We’ve just released version 2.1.49 of our iOS app, bringing several improvements and fixes:
- Support for animated GIF uploads
- Resolved issues with zap.stream URLs
- Improved deep linking to threads
- Fixed rendering of mentioned events with unknown kinds

Hey Primal users: No more Hellthreads!
We’ve launched support for muting notifications from hellthreads (notes with more than 10 user mentions). By default, this setting is enabled for all users to help reduce noise and improve your experience.
For hellthread enjoyers, if you prefer to receive notifications from hellthreads, you can adjust this setting in the Notification Settings section of our Web app. That setting will be available in our mobile apps in the next release.
