Sometimes, the Agent is amazing and does complicated stuff on the fly.
Other times, it's struggling with displaying a simple image where I need it to. No matter I prompt, the issue is not fixed. And I can't do anything about it because I don't know the code.

This is cool! But I guess he also means the masses won’t be tinkering with personal relays either.
First, I tried doing some coding within a chat window with ChatGPT. But as the code grew, it quickly became inconvenient. Plus, the agent would forget some context and the project structure.
Now, I’m trying to do it with Replit. In this environment, the agent knows the project’s structure and is specifically designed to code and use all kinds of tools available (frameworks, databases, etc.). Really love it so far. Crazy to see how it just creates a project from scratch.
But I still need to learn better prompting. Sometimes, it would do something complicated right away. Other times, it can’t create a simple application that connects to Nostr relays…

Switched to my laptop (not sure why I started on Digital Ocean), tried again and got it to work!

Still having a hard time fetching a single random note, lol. Glad the robot doesn't get tired and keeps trying everything it can. But I'm already noticing my own level of prompt going up.
I did lean a little bit of Python and Ruby about 10 years ago, but only as a hobby and for some simple things. I’m amazed at how you don’t have to actually write code anymore now that AI can do it for you. But reading the results and debugging is still a human task, it doesn’t understand everything it does.
Learning to program. Or rather to prompt an AI agent to program for me.
Got it to set up the environment from scratch (node.js in the backend, React in the front end) and do “Hello, world!”
Now trying to fetch a random note from nostr. No luck so far. But I like it!
