I've taken a mixed approach lately that has been better than being super heavy carbs like I used to be. I've noticed some things make me feel bad while others don't. Potatoes are fine. Noodles are trouble for me.

I try to mix in a lot more protein and fats and generally feel better.

Think about nature.....nature produces carbs mostly in the summer via potatoes and fruits. Eat more carbs in the hot weather, and virtually none in winter when nothing grows. Learned this off Dr Jack Kruse. Really reduce the produces stuff, pasta, bread etc, but no need to eliminate anything altogether.

Any links to Kruse talking about this?

read his book.......epi paleo rx........work with nature.....eat what grows outside......food is only really made by photosynthesis and so for.....get outside. We shouldnt need to be educated on how to eat well.

Sounds a lot like what Dr Sebi was teaching

Great description haha

Less gluten, more potato based carbs and meat

Eliminate all carbs. You will adapt over the course of 3-6 months and not miss it at all.

Prayer.

I’m with you. Carbs swell my gut. Wifey is a hard core carnivore. She’s bright and full of life with wonderfully healthy body

Intermittent fasting

That's a symptom, of the many, of Celic Disease. Please take a look at it.

everyone is celiac to one degree or another, aren't we?

Food is fuel. Look for joy elsewhere.

food is not art and entertainment

neither God nor relationships

haha so tru

Small quantities works for me. Could never give up breads. Pizzas, pitas, tortillas, croissants, rye bread.

Love them all.

Try eating some cooked meat

thats the majority of my diet

Then that sounds delicious.

Good for you, meat is for me too

Try fresh fruits as your main (only) source of carbs.

can't resist but always regret :(

Step 1) enjoy life. just get used to feeling bloated and dumb.

Step 2) take up smoking (so that maybe it won't be the carbs that kill you).

Yes

Eat *better* carbs

examples please

Root vegetables, particularly 'old-fashioned' ones, like parsnips, swede/rutabaga, sweet potatoes, japanese daikon, etc

Bread that would meet the strict German legal requirements to be called bread

Brown rice over polished white rice, good quality basmati

Rolled oats

Maybe experiment with 'exotic' grains like quinoa, millet, buckwheat, etc

Avoid almost all noodles. High quality durum wheat pasta is ok. but measure it out, generally 80 -100g per adult.

Pulses such as lentils, chickpeas, etc

Green beans, peas, etc

Maybe you could also experiment with 16:8 fasting (each day only has an 8 hour window in which you eat), if you haven't tried already, to let your stomach properly 'clear' itself each day.

Hope this helps 👍

Organic minimally it at all processed whole carbs

first, try and go off carbs for a month to 90 days and see if you still crave it. if so, try to optimize for the right balance.

Lot of good info down there. But i’d recommend trying keto. High fat, low carb. Under 20gs of carbs a day.

The joy in life comes back in a different way. Not in a dopamine spike, but more of a life is GooOood.

BHB is a ketone your body makes. Similar to GHB the illegal drugs. I’ve never done GHB before, but i’d imagine it feels good at low doses based on ketosis.

🤷

Adrenachrome or something idk ask that big owl they pray to

Let me know how it tastes 🤢

EAT ONLY ORGANIC GRAINS if you live in the US

Particularly avoid any and all enriched grains

Gary brecka has good info on this
