Two things Iβm now convinced will happen regarding #nostr, itβs just a matter of when
1) an explosion of new users, as centralized social media clients (like X) continue to censor, make poor business and customer decisions, and eventually implode. And as nostr clients improve, get easier, better UX, and appealing to mainstream (like nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg with killer UX and wallet in-app).
2) as users grow, so too will government attacks against nostr-enable clients and businesses. We saw a smidge of this with Apple and nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 but that was childβs play imo. Legal funds will be needed, similar to bitcoin dev legal funds.
This could be next year. It could be 5 years, 10 years, 20 years down the line. It will be interesting, and itβs very cool to be living through these times.

Massively agree and I myself use Primal, although I don't use their inbuilt wallet system for kyc reasons.
I was also just listening to the bitcoin podcast with @walker and Pablo. They mentioned its easier to purple pill than orange pill which made me think.
It's so correct. I've had small success re educating some close friends and colleagues into bitcoin but the explanation process can get painful at times. I'm convinced that if I'd been trying to convert them to #nostr, more would jump across and they would then see bitcoin utility that would likely draw them in anyway.
