Never offended. Always curious. No more war, balkanize. End central banks, end centralized authority. ₿

Seems like a lot of the #Bitcoin people go quiet when the price goes down. I'm salivating. Let's drop this down to 60k. As much as I want humanity to blossom into a Kardeshev Type 1 civilization immediately, I would also like another two years to save the only Future Freedom Money at that rate so I can take care of extended family too. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I talked to several local banks wanting to DCA a thousand dollars a month over 4 years. None of them would do it. Two of them essentially told me that Bitcoin is a threat to their business. One offered to loan up to half my holdings but I'd have to trust my BTC to Fidelity, and that was a non-starter once I looked into it.

Did Satoshi call it a blockchain? I thought he always called it the timechain.

Well that doesn't mean that everyone would be rich. There will be very few wholecoiners. But also isn't that how the US government has all of their Bitcoin now? Most from taking it from a guy who made a free market website.

Unfortunately I blew my load early that's what she said. No fiat left in the tank for me until next pay.

How could it not? In 140 years 1 Satoshi will be the mining reward, which is right now about the price of a house. Combine that with the fact that we can already 3d print houses. The only asset that can ever stabilize against Bitcoin over the long term is land, and that's only while we're a single planet civilization.

All I know is in 140 years 1 Satoshi = 1 house, as sure as the ocean gets deeper away from the shore. I really just don't care that much about the ripples in between, except as opportunities to accumulate.

I'm pretty sure they're making robots for every human task. Loading a dishwasher just gets sensationalized in social media because it's a task everyone can relate to, unlike, say, the bigger robots that can plow the fields now.

Why not? Do those things not offer privacy? And isn't privacy the only advantage built into monero over Bitcoin?

The "Crime of '73" and the Risk of a Bitcoin Reset: Why the Privacy Concerns of Monero Bros Miss the Bigger Picture

In 1873, the U.S. made a fateful decision that would come to be known as the "Crime of '73." The government effectively demonetized silver by switching to a gold standard, which radically shifted the economic landscape. Prior to this, the U.S. operated under a bimetallic system, with both gold and silver circulating as money. The inflationary effect of silver (which was easier to mine) allowed people to take on debt more easily, assuming that the debt would be paid back with money that would lose value over time as the silver supply increased.

But when the U.S. abandoned silver and moved to a gold-only system, things changed dramatically. Gold was much harder to find, creating a deflationary environment. This meant that the value of money—and by extension, the value of debts—was rising, not falling. As a result, those who had taken on debt during the inflationary period were suddenly crushed. The real value of their debts grew, and many found themselves unable to repay what they owed.

Fast forward to today, and we're faced with a similar situation, albeit with a new asset: Bitcoin.

The Bitcoin Reset: A Modern-Day “Crime of ’73”?

In a world transitioning to a Bitcoin standard, we may very well face a scenario where debts are "repriced" in Bitcoin terms. If the government (or market) shifts from a traditional fiat system to a Bitcoin-backed one, the deflationary nature of Bitcoin could have a devastating impact on those who hold large amounts of debt in fiat currencies. Just like in 1873, the real value of those debts would increase as the purchasing power of money increases.

Bitcoin’s deflationary structure, where the supply is capped at 21 million coins, creates a unique set of incentives. While this is great for savers and those who hold Bitcoin, it poses a serious risk for people or institutions that hold debt. If you owe in dollars (or other fiat currencies) and the world shifts to a Bitcoin standard, your debt could grow in real terms, even though the nominal value remains the same. The deflationary pressure from Bitcoin could recreate the same debt spiral that crushed many during the Gold Standard era.

But What About Privacy? The Monero Dilemma

Here’s where the Monero community often diverges from Bitcoiners: privacy. While Monero offers superior privacy features, it’s crucial to recognize that a Bitcoin standard has broader economic implications. The Monero bros often dismiss Bitcoin due to its privacy limitations, especially with the growing surveillance concerns around the Bitcoin blockchain. However, this focus on privacy misses a much larger issue: the deflationary nature of Bitcoin could create an environment where those who hold Bitcoin—especially early adopters or savers—could see huge financial rewards. On the flip side, those who hold debt in any other form could be left in a precarious position.

Monero’s privacy features may protect individual transactions, but the real threat to economic stability comes from the value of money itself. If you’re holding Bitcoin and your debts are priced in fiat, you may be positioned for long-term growth as the value of your holdings appreciates. However, if your debt is in fiat and the world shifts to Bitcoin, your debt could balloon beyond your ability to repay it, just as it did for borrowers during the 1873 switch to the gold standard.

The Bigger Picture

The historical lesson from 1873 isn’t just about inflation versus deflation; it’s about understanding the economic ramifications of a hard-money standard. If Bitcoin (or any deflationary currency) becomes the new global standard, the key issue will be the repricing of debts. Those who have real assets like Bitcoin (or gold, historically) will be insulated from this shift, but those who hold debt will face a massive risk. Privacy, while an important consideration, is secondary when the fundamental nature of money itself is shifting.

So, to the Monero bros: while privacy is a valid concern, it’s essential to keep an eye on the broader economic shifts that could have a much bigger impact. In a world where Bitcoin becomes the standard, your debts, your assets, and your future will be shaped by its deflationary force. Make sure you’re prepared for the long-term financial implications, because just like in 1873, switching to a harder money standard can have consequences that extend far beyond privacy.

#Monero #Bitcoin

I kinda feel like coinjoining and the lightning network pretty much make Monero obsolete anyway, no? Curious if anybody will be willing to push back on that.

The west is occupied, by jews. Our jewish problem is much worse than yours. Our governments don't represent us. That's why foreigners have been allowed to come in the first place. Our governments, occupied 100% by jews, hate us even more than they hate you.

Of course America had zero problems in the ME before 1948. Germany had zero problems before they welcomed the Jews from Russia who tried to kill the Tsar in 1905. America had no reason to join the war against Germany in WW1 but we allowed ourselves to be led by the nose by jews who betrayed their German saviors, just as they now betray their Palestinian saviors.

Yes, I see perfectly well what our problem is, and what your problem is. It's the same problem. I think you see it too although you won't name them, but maybe it's more dangerous for you to do so. The question is what will we do about it?

I absolutely agree that we need to stop letting Jews trick us into wars in the middle east. We do so by ending Jewish influence in our governments and media and institutions. That would have prevented Iraq and Afghanistan. Pakistan we never invaded. Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine are all 100% done by Israeli Jews, not us. All of that territory is considered by them to be "Greater Israel". We didn't do any of that at all, and we don't approve of it either. And as long as Israel is there you will never have peace.

The best I can offer is to threaten my congressman about sending money and bombs to Jews, which I am sincerely sorry for.

My hope is that eventually we'll confine all Jews to part of the territory they now claim, and Palestinians will take upon themselves, with any assistance they need, the sacred duty of keeping them confined for a thousand years. That's the ideal path to lasting world peace.

So anything that is ever done to White people, no matter what nation they're from, from this generation until the end of time, anything that is ever stolen from them, any foreigner occupying their lands, is nothing but the perfectly natural consequence of... jews waging war in their lands and then jews bringing them here...

Why on earth would you expect White people to welcome that?

Respectfully, fuck you. First of all you don't even seem to know what you're talking about. But What do you think will be the natural consequence of your people's actions now? Do you think we're going to let you hang around raping and killing us for 700 years again before we crusade you? We know very well that if we don't expell your people now, our children and grandchildren will inherit a dangerous wasteland and will have no peace in what should have been their homeland. We'll become like the kind but foolish Palestinians who opened their gates to demons in 1948, and have lost their homeland because of it.

We don't owe you a better life. No one does. And access to White people is not a human right. Make your own countries better and leave us alone.

Everyone deserves a homeland where they can feel safe, and loving kinship with their neighbors. This is what's perfectly natural.

All foreigners are going home very soon. I'm trying to help you understand our perfectly reasonable expectations in the hopes that we can help to do it the peaceful way. Let us not have senseless enmity between us, but let us instead cooperate to expell the mutually shared evil that plagues both our societies, that's what I want. I don't want to fight your people too because I don't believe they're evil, but this entitlement attitude is not tolerable.

How fortuitous for me that the revolution requires me to do nothing and just watch my wealth grow.

Just so I understand, you believe that White people collectively owe the third world a monetary debt for some agrievances, and that it could not be collected remotely. It required millions of people to colonize us instead? Or is it a revenge thing?

Friend it wasn't even us, except those who were naively tricked into service of masters they didn't know. They do the same to us. They own every one of our politicians. except instead of bombing us they poison our food and water and medicine and air.

I think you misunderstand me friend. I want to leave the Islamic world alone and let them build societies that work for them, just as you say.

Similarly, I want the Islamic world to leave my people alone so we can build societies that work for us.

"Racism" is a problem for any race that finds itself being invaded and replaced in their own homelands. Race = Nation. If Iceland is full of Somalians then Iceland doesn't exist - it's culture, traditions, social systems etc - expressions of your own people's soul - have no meaning whatsoever to the looters.

Love your people, don't hate mine. Tell your brethren to come home and I'll do the same.

Not really. The west is undergoing looting and it's unfortunate, but it's only because the White races built amazing societies worth looting, and we'll do so again. We just have to guard it better and expell the invaders. But the Islamic world still has to make societies that people aren't trying to flee.

To be clear I'm not entirely blaming this on Muslims. If we can cooperate to isolate jews from the rest of the world then we'll all be better off and have lasting peace.

That and cousin breeding are the reasons nobody is trying to get into Muslim countries.

I buy #Bitcoin all the way down, I buy #Bitcoin all the way up. I trade fiat for a better monetary unit at every opportunity because that's the only strategy that guarantees I win.
