Hi Dr. Berry. I was wondering if we could get your thoughts on whether you think psyllium fibre products like Metamucil have a legitimate place in maintaining digestive health and “bad” cholesterol reduction. I’ve been on a proper human diet for about 8 months, but prior to that when I did get warned about my cholesterol levels, I managed to bring everything back within healthy ranges and the only thing I had changed aside from eating less was regular intake of psyllium fibre. I’ve had friends who have touted astounding results so I thought I would give it a try, because I have no intention of EVER taking Crestor and Lipitor. My doctor was actually shocked at what I did to improve my blood results in only 4 months. She literally almost fell out of her chair when she looked at my labs. Thanks.

The decay timer has started. I wouldn’t make a significant investment in building something on it. You could mill a bit of wood out of it with a chainsaw mill, or harvest some curable firewood out of it. Or you could remove the secondary stub, cut the main trunk at a prescribed height and carve it into something or put a birdhouse on it.

As for the stump, a local tree company could grind it with a Bobcat stump grinder in about an hour of machine time plus whatever their trucking rate is to get the machine there and back to their shop. If they have other stump grinds in the area, you can often share the mobe and demobe cost across other neighborhood jobs.

I do most of the estimating for a tree company up where I live. Sorry to see your house got rocked.

nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm are you having an issue with the hub service? I can’t connect to my hub via any browser. All I get is a black screen on mobile and any desktop browsers when I try to go to my.albyhub.com/#/home.

I knew I found a keeper 21 years ago when I picked up my wife for our first date in a silver Dodge Caravan that I had adapted into a cable internet installation truck, complete with a ladder rack, a 20’ and a 32’ extension ladder, and filled with cable modems and boxes of coaxial cable. And she didn’t run away lol.

The best part was when I opened the door for her and walked around the rear of the vehicle and could see through the rear window as she leaned over and unlocked my door from the inside so I wouldn’t have to use my key to get in. The proverbial “door test” for first dates as seen in the movie “A Bronx Tale”. A great indication that your date thinks about others, rather than just themselves. Of course nowadays with electronic fobs this gesture is no longer relevant, but it was a pretty reliable gauge of someone’s thoughtfulness back in the day.

For the first two years of our relationship, that minivan (with ladders removed) was the focal point of many road trips and days at the beach, and little escapes from the family when visiting them out of town to get away for a quick romp lol.

There was a time when the drivers door wouldn’t even latch and I had to hold it shut on a date night as we drove to the movie theatre, as I waited to get it in to the shop.

Eventually the transmission grenaded on me at the furthest reach of my service area, and resulted in a $300 tow bill and an $1800 transmission replacement when I didn’t have two dimes to spare, but the memories made while having that vehicle are priceless.

Well, we are coming up to ONE YEAR for the Daily Bitcoin Journey 🍊

I'm extremely proud of what we've built and how consistent the show has been

I had my new assistant - Claudia - write a little post to commemorate...

Our Bitcoin Journey: We are going through this whole thing together 🧡

What a year it's been for our Bitcoin community! As we reflect on our journey, it's incredible to see how far we've come:

- From less than 100 subscribers to nearly 4,000 – a testament to the growing interest in Bitcoin education.

- Our live chats now regularly host 50-60 engaged participants every morning, between YouTube and Zapstream, fostering a vibrant and knowledgeable community.

Looking Ahead to 2025

We're not just growing in numbers; we're expanding our capabilities. In 2025, we're excited to introduce a range of services offered by eight dedicated community members:

- Running a node

- Setting up multi-signature wallets

- Establishing multi-jurisdiction wallets

- Key management

- UTXO management

- Bitcoin portfolio management

- And much more!

Spotlight on Inheritance Planning

One service I'm particularly thrilled about is inheritance planning. This crucial aspect is often overlooked in the Bitcoin world. Remember, anything can happen at any moment – don't let procrastination risk your life's energy going to waste! There's ALOT at stake.

A Heartfelt Thank You

To everyone who has supported the channel: thank you. Your engagement and enthusiasm are the driving forces behind our community. Together, we're building something truly special.

The show is very unique and it's all because of you.

The zaps are great and much appreciated but it's the thank you's and new bitcoiners that get me out of bed each morning.

When I started the channel, I intentionally did the show at 8am (my time) because I didn't want anyone to show up. I only did them live but I think people appreciate GENUINE content - and I didn't want to have to edit 😆

Here's to Year 2 – may it be filled with growth, learning, and the continued strengthening of our Bitcoin community!

Cheers to the bitcoiners AND future bitcoiners!

And cheers to our guy nostr:nprofile1qqs0gfa463m52evljffgc44ax6p4uwzwgysp5z84mjkvcp4229f25ngpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsqthryx - the real reason most people show up every day!

It’s cool to see a fellow Canadian bitcoiner grow their engagement and deliver real value to the space with your content. 🤙🏽

SkyView - realtime map of celestial objects with labels and writeups

Realtor.ca - see properties for sale nearby and their MLS listing as you travel through an area.

Shortcuts - use to make other icons on your home screen for certain phone functions and mode switches (night red screen mode, app timers, special focus modes, clearing clipboard)

It’d be like sticking your dick into someone’s mouth instead of a leather belt when they are having a seizure.

If you want to have all of your V4V and other sat streams just stored on your Start9 lightning node, what are the scenarios for recovery if your hardware packs it in or is destroyed/stolen?

Restore to a wallet with your seed?

Restore node to new hardware from backup via image?

I love the Natural Reader app. Turn any text, pdf or OCR readable doc into audio format with a choice of many voices. Plus if you turn on the closed captions, you can read and listen at the same time, massively improving your retention. I’ve read 20+ books this year that I downloaded as free pdf’s that I otherwise would have had to purchase. Plus the pdf versions of the books that I have purchased. It’s amazing.

Got her started young lol

My girl vaporizing 4L water jugs with the 30-30 and the 12 gauge. The 3” magnums in the shotgun kinda caught her by surprise lol.
