We need it. And not just the usual theatre. Massive deregulation, tax rollbacks and repealment of predatory laws. An end to at source federal payroll taxes. An end to the Goods and Services Tax. An end to the Bank of Canada and our support of climate scam green initiatives. An end of support for American interventionist foreign policy. An end to the RCMP goon squad and the Chief Firearms Office. Defunding state subsidized media. Leaving farmers the fuck alone. Elimination of roadblocks to oil and gas and mining.

A tall order for one man with 150 years of entrenched power against him. I’m still wondering if I can look at myself in the mirror if I stand in a cue waiting to cast a ballot in 2025.

The new twins. Just in time for Christmas sats.

GM. It’s all about the fundamentals. Not the spot price. Stack harder. Buy the dip.

Believe me I am. DCA’ing my way out, one buy at a time. It’s funny, if my boss had taken half the capital he’s spent on depreciating assets over the past four and a half years and bought Bitcoin, he’d already be sitting on more wealth than he’s going to make selling this company.

I honestly can’t believe how soulless our biggest customers area managers are. They sent out two huge bids Tuesday and Wednesday and put closing dates on them early enough in the new year that in order to put in competitive, realistic bids on them, we will need to sacrifice what few days we are supposed to be with our families over Christmas and New Year’s weeks to go scout and estimate hundreds of sites. And because my boss has gone absolutely bonkers on capital purchases this year, we could really use the volume.

After wearing ourselves down to the bone going the extra mile to serve them this year, this is the thanks we get. I really wonder if they even see us as human. Just nodes on their enterprise software, waiting at their beck and call. I’ve about had it with corporations. Ugh.

My fav album in the 90’s. Driving around in a low key sedan with two cell phones and two of these

CTV and CBC can both fuck off. They just couldn’t finish this article without taking a poke at Bitcoin on national news media. They should both be defunded.

Their coverage of the Ottawa and Coutts trucker convoys was criminal. No journalistic integrity in the least.

There was no KYC, I simply inserted cash into the ATM. The funds were in my account in seconds, ready to buy Bitcoin. Very fast and simple. I will definitely use this service again. You don't even need an account, you can buy straight to a Bitcoin wallet address šŸ¤™

Bitcoin Well is a kickass exchange. Doing it right. nostr:npub1k763esjjzm2vzz7gtt38q4wf49zlua72l4rreu3myzghuwwwdqtq2mcg5x

It’s pretty handy using the shortcuts function on iOS you can put a shortcut on your Home Screen to toggle your screen from full bright to full red tint color filter, to save your night vision and limit emitting light from your location with the press of a single shortcut. You can also make shortcuts for various levels of focus combined with low power mode and silent mode for other handy shortcuts for operating at night.

legend!

The worst part was, the top and 19th pitch was about a 25m pitch with only a tiny crack running to the top, where we could just do an easy hike out. We didn’t have nuts small enough to protect it, so we ended up doing about 16 long double rope rappels to get out, sacrificing anchor hardware and slings on the way down. About halfway down, my partner dropped his descendeur and we thankfully had a spare. But before we found the spare we were considering how to haul up the one we had after the first man’s rappel, then drop the rope down again so the second man could descend using it. It would have been sketchy. Plus every time we pulled the ropes out of the anchors, we were praying they wouldn’t get hopelessly snagged and be unretrievable. What was supposed to be a 5 hour outing ended up seeing us back to our vehicle after dark, walking on ankle breaking boulders and talus in our rock shoes for the last 300m. Thankfully a so we met at the base had headlamps. We didn’t have cell phones either.

Being 6 hours overdue, my girlfriend wasn’t too happy. She barely spoke to me that night. She and my climbing partner’s wife had been checking in with each other all afternoon, thinking the worst. Good times. Lessons learned.

We were doing a multi-pitch trad route on The Chief in Squamish in 1995 and stopped for lunch at the top of about the 10th pitch to have lunch, only to have a free solo climber ease past us with nothing but his shorts, rock shoes and chalk bag on. I was surprised he could climb with all the extra weight of his brass cojones lol.

Is there a persistent place people can go to see a list of episodes like fountain.
