Thanks for the explanation!

It will need signed events by app authors, right?
π« Thank you for your work!
Does it work only for nostr events on relays, or also to other http content accessed by the client?
π«
Out of curiosity, what is a NIP-46 'server'?
Is not possible to use any relay to communicate the client and the remote signer?
(Sorry if I'm asking stupid questions)

Here is another demo of my NIP implementation.
Now using ephemeral events, NIP-44 encryption and NIP-59 gift wraps:
https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/pull/1276
I suggest weβll call it NIP-80 after the default http port.
Imagine future browsers ( #browstr ) allowing you to enter http://
It can also be useful for #iot devices that can serve a simple configuration-website and allow βbrowsingβ them from anywhere in the world. I think TOR is too complicated to run on such devices.

HTTP over Nostr
Another example of Nostr replacing IP/DNS/CA.

Can't wait to get rid of GitHub -> nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgprdmhxue69uhkwmr9v9ek7mnpw3hhytnyv4mz7un9d3shjcrepuq
DBs that don't include your signature per row don't make much sense.
Does nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgpz4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezummcw3ezuer9wchsfd4wdf protect from this kind of attack?

Simplicity is a feature we often forget about.
Sometimes it's even considered a bug!

nostr-login is not using the same password to every website, is using the same identity.
Of course, it's not always desired to do so, and it could also be improved, specially UX-wise.

Where's this screenshot from?
Calling "commies" to Labour is so far from the truth.
Labour gonna print? Sure, as Tories did themselves.
Instead of a handful of platforms trying to control your life online, people are reclaiming control by building more open and empowering approaches to social media. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2024/06/whats-difference-between-mastodon-bluesky-and-threads
No Nostr mention?

What do you think of ecash and Bolt12 combination?
Bolt12 could simplified LN and mints integration User Experience.
Ecash mints could function as proxies to/from lightning Network with no need of manually requesting LN invoices.
Thoughts?

true but need some proof if someone is putting an existing identity on nostr. Would be very easy scam to make fake account and ask for donations nostr:npub17xvf49kht23cddxgw92rvfktkd3vqvjgkgsdexh9847wl0927tqsrhc9as π€¨
NIP-05 is useful for business and similar already established online identities based on DNS names that want to sign their "official" npub.
But for the rest of us, if we want two link different social profiles, the way is to cross-posting in all of them, imo.
Thinking that npubs with some NIP-05 alias are some kind of "verified identities" is very dangerous.
