I didn't discount it because of what you wrote.

I discounted it because I regularly watched both Whitney and TFTC before. Along with the corbett report, George Gammon and a plethora of other sources and I used to share your feeling of helplessness and dread against it all.

I'm not telling you to stop sharing nor what you should or shouldn't watch (afterall if you hadn't posted, I wouldn't have responded 🙃).

I have recognised for myself that keeping up with it all is inversely correlated with personal happiness and simply does not enrich my life.

As it is all part of an overarching incentive game it will just play out. Yes the american empire is in decline, no it won't be pretty, yes some will suffer for it but overall we will be ok.

If you think that's apathy I'd like you to imagine that people went through the exact same commotions when the british empire "fell". Whilst the current news wants you to believe that the situation over there is dire since brexit, I can assure you that there are very few people over there who would trade their current life for one in mid 19th century britain.

So with my newfound time and freedom from not worrying so much I currently spend most of it on learning about anthropology and biology since that intrests me all of the sudden. Your recently shared video on electroceuticals fit right in so thanks again for that!

Not paying attention to news has therefore become a conscious strategy for me and in addition to making my life happier and less stressful also allowed me to see much larger pictures by thinking things through on my own. I do still get a general picture from twitter but I blocked all accounts that bombard me with "BREAKING" statements and try to reduce my time spent over there.

If you want to find signal I recommend watching as many interviews Jeff Booth gave as you can.

I've rewatched a lot of them and many of the snippets of wisdom didn't click for me the first few times and those interviews along with his book helped raise my level of consciousness much more than anything else I had consumed before.

He also has a great list of books on his website that is well worth anyones time to at least pick and chose from (I wish I had kept such a list but alas I don't recall which books influenced me the most but I started one now!).

Other than that it really pays to understand incentive systems, game theory and spiral dynamics as they apply to everything.

Here are some blog posts well worth reading:

Yep, pretty sweet🤘🏼

Ya, it takes a bit of work but it’s well worth it. Going bigger next year!

Thanks, I walk it and talk to it daily 😂

So far so good.

The weather really has been great this year. 🤙🏼

With all the chaos, headlines, and noise going on the world, it’s nice to just walk out into the garden and admire all your hard work.

Literally the fruits of your labour.

We harvested our garlic and onions last week.

Replanted more yellow and white onions

and some Yukon gem potatoes. Hopefully I can harvest all these before the cold.

Beef Tomatoes, Grape Tomatoes & cucumbers are doin great! Loads of em!

I had a client just last year volunteer for the MAID program. I thought it was a joke at first. He was a snow removal client of mine 3yrs ago, never signed up the following year, and then just last year his daughter and wife called me asking to get on my schedule again because he was doing the MAID thing.

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

He was a difficult client to deal with and went with another company that following year so I wasn’t too worried when he switched companies.

But when the wife and daughter had called me back, they both acknowledged the fact he was difficult and then proceeded to tell me about how he was participating in MAID.

I guess he didn’t like my service, but the wife did. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yes, MAID is very real whether this article headline is or not.

Hello Nostr!

Does anyone have any good articles/sources that I can send to a friend? He says bitcoin isn’t backed by anything 😂

He also doesn’t know much about bitcoin🤷🏼‍♂️

You can either spend time (gone forever), or invest it. Clients often tell me they want to make more money, but they don't really have clear financial goals, or an understanding of what it takes to achieve them.

Here's a fun, eye-opening way to gauge how _you're_ currently spending your time **and** quite literally, money.

**Reality Check:** If your income goal is $1,000,000 a year and you plan to work 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday, with 2 weeks off per year, you would need to earn approximately $4,000 per day, or about $500 per hour.

**Calculation:**

- A year has 52 weeks. If you take 2 weeks off, you will work 50 weeks.

- Working 5 days a week for 50 weeks equals 250 working days per year (50 weeks × 5 days per week = 250 days).

- To earn $1,000,000 in 250 days, you need to make $1,000,000 ÷ 250 = $4,000 per day.

- If you work 8 hours a day, your hourly rate should be $4,000 ÷ 8 = $500 per hour.

If your income goal is $200,000, you would need to earn approximately $800 per day, or about $100 per hour.

Even just $75,000 a year, that still breaks down to $303 a day.

Do you now better understand the value of an hour as it applies to attaining your financial goals?

How many hours did you spend watching TV or scrolling the web? Social media? How about that unscheduled phone call? How much did that cost you?

Do you currently have the habits of someone who makes the kind of money you want to make?

If not, when would _now_ be a good time to re-evaluate how you are currently spending your time and energy?

Hope you found this exercise useful.

This is great and a very simple way for the average person working a 9-5 job to understand the easy math behind achieving their financial goals.🤙🏼
