I started with a dark purple 08 Silverado 1500 4.8L Worked that old girl hard! Sold it with just over 300,000kms. I bought it slightly used with around 31,000kms on it for $19k

Now I have a silver ice metallic 2019 Silverado 2500HD 6.0L, she’s thirsty on fuel but it pulls really nice, a true workhorse. I remember paying $66k out the door. Only has 105,000kms as of right now. I’m dreading the day I need a new truck for work. Not looking forward to the $100k price tag.

I saw a 2500 Silverado Harley Davidson edition for sale the other day. If I remember correctly, they wanted $165k for it 🤣

Even at $100k, the monthly cost is more than my mortgage payment. It’s getting really stupid out there. Hopefully people just stop buying them. The manufacturers and dealers will have no choice but drop their prices if they want them to sell.

A lot of this that he states is fearmongering (stuff that can be theoretically disabled in settings) or functionality that he mentions that is already surpassed by three letter agencies for things such as tracking. If you're looking for something that is certainly secure and private, don't look at iOS or Android, but either aren't terrible for "most" people.

Someone showed me the new iPhone 16 pro and it has its own camera button on the side that you can also just tap and slide your finger across to change settings and zoom. It looked pretty fancy! Not sure how that feature would work with different cases though.
