Yeh I would never cook in a traditional microwave, the old one we had was used primarily for melting butter, chocolate, and other items for baking...and reheating soup
We now have a convection microwave oven which is much better a cooking food items in a short time period, like an air fryer. But again we only limit the use of the microwave for higher water content items as it lacks the flavour profiles that frying or baking can provide
I have a microwave...and also understand the physics behind them as its the same as the radars I fix in work...its quite interesting.
It uses small electromagnetic waves from a cavity magnetron (same concept as a radar, but much smaller wavelengths, hence microwaves) to induce polar molecules, which in turn rotate/vibrate the food molecules and produce thermal energy. The process is called dielectric heating.
I'm not aware of the process being used in mind control, but then again my lizard overlords would obviously want me to say that ππ¦π€
Appreciate it, and I've added the entire Cosmere (in order) to my reading list. I'm going to read some more educational works for now, then jump into Eltantris and go from there.
Thanks again for taking the time o write these notes π€
Told you it would be interesting π
Happy to help anyone building in this space π€
Tried to zap you but no lightning address on your npub...do you need help setting one up? Happy to help if I can
Ooooooooo shit!! π well there's a whole shelf of my bookcase reserved
I think I'll step away from Sanderson to fully appreciate the works I just read, but thank you so much for the note about the other series.
Will definitely be back this year for more. Really enjoyed his writing and the metaphysics (once I got my head around book 1 π )
The writing in metal gave me goosebumps...fantastic reads, recommended by nostr:nprofile1qqsx6x46t6g7ltslq5jgzerg6yr35tka6kvswgfa6q5awu9xsqhphpspz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7lceftd, grateful I saw the note that day.
P.S I still need to get on OpenLibrarian but haven't spun up any new keys while travelling for testing, and don't have access to Alby Extension
I will get on it though π€
#bookstr 5 of 2025 complete...the final book in the Mistborn Trilogy - The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson

...wow! What a read. The book tying up the many fascinating and intertwined stories and characters, but without feeling rushed or forced
10/10 does the Trilogy no justice! I already want to read the first book again π
I think the next #bookstr may have to SoftWar...it's been lurking on my reading list for some time now...but open to suggestions?

Some of these paintings are simply breathtaking, but just too big to take back to The UK. nostr:nprofile1qqsqfjtqf9a0vx9wrr63g7e7tscfau7c5cj3w69pczpquqkfxa5vcwcgrqure
You can get them rolled up into what is essentially a waste water pipe with some string on it. They seal the ends with duct tape and I carrying like 8 large paintings back from VN and Indo a couple of years back as hand luggage even though it was well over 1m tall π€worth it as when I restretched them back home, they look amazing
In fact I've shipped them to our new home in the same way in the container
Our home cooking class in Hoi An was amazing π»π³π€started in the fields picking herbs and then morning market for meat and veggies for class

Dishes:

Gα»I ΔU ΔỦ - Pork and shrimp papaya salad (complete with fancy pants tomato rose...who even am I)

BΓNH XΓO - Pork and shrimp rice flour pancakes, which we then made into rolls with mustard leaves, banana flowers etc

CΓ TΓM KHO Tα» - Egglant/Aubergine caramelised in a clay pot

PHα» BΓ - vietnamese beef noodle soup...my favourite dish to eat here and now I know the secrets of how to make it FINALLY π
