A few weeks ago I replaced my Tom Ford sunglasses that I had for around 10 years with a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses.

Today I replaced my black north face raincoat (that I’ve had for at least a decade) with a black north face raincoat.

Is this good or bad? Am I retarded?

As long as you like it that’s the important part. My wife and I are very different too - I always embraced the differences though in recent years it has become apparent that we’re just not compatible. She’s very bright in some ways but like a paranoid teenager in many others. Unfortunately a moribund situation

My bar is lower - just read a book or two and be able to have some kind of grasp of the last 500 years of history. Currently sadly lacking

I think I’d like that too but probably also more intelligent overall so I could learn from them. As long as we could have some good arguments/debates
