Off-brand #Alexandria 📖 mobile-first and offline-first reading app prototype, from my private stash. Using Flutter and Hive, and autoconnecting to #Citrine 🍋.

It's focusing just on reading and interacting. No big search or visualisation or publishing or whatnot. But there's a kind 11 discussion board, which is sort of cool.

At the moment, it's just a dummy. Decided to build the entire design with mock events, and then switch the backend on, as the frontend is the new part, this time. Took me a bit, to get used to it.

I was finally able to connect to nostr:nprofile1qyghwue69uhkuvmcvghxjme6xucrqvqpp3mhxue69uhkyunz9e5k7qpq5xd2mmjnh3caykh77djsv73e0zkrp42jp5mwerx8f4m6su40wdvsrlysyl with Nostr profile after many failed attempts, and the following things happened:

1. It immediately changed my NIP-05 without asking me.

2. It rugged my following list, which I had to restore using nostr:nprofile1qyxhwumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmvqyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnhd9hx2qpqn0stur7q092gyverzc2wfc00e8egkrdnnqq3alhv7p072u89m5ese32dk3.

Yah turns out you’re in the sin bin. We’ve been playing around with WoT filters to make the feeds more appealing to normies, nomads & people from outside our circle. For whatever reason you ended up in the bad boy bucket.

Also - we pulled events off the NIP52 spec because it’s shit. We’re building it from scratch & once happy with the events feature, we’ll propose a new NIP with a new, fully fleshed out & battle tested standard. That’s gonna take a few more months - but it will be 100% worth it because Nostr will finally have a really good calendar-events spec
