Day 5 #grownostr initiative

Time for a little pizza planning Friday night. Working on ideas for the #NIFE tomorrow. We plan on having Kids Korner involving painting some rocks and playing some games!

Harvesting some parsley seed from the courtyard, accompanied by the smell of Salvia and the buzzing of bees in the afternoon sun. Not a bad way to pass the time. Collected quite a bit, I'll leave some down at the local Grow Free cart, along with some spare Jalapenos.

Jerusalem Artichokes came in today, first time growing them. We picked them up mainly for a living fence but we will also try to eat them and use them as animal fooder once we are setup for livestock.

We'll plant them in the next few days after we've come up with a way to protect them from our local wildlife.
